


The Japanese culinary school “Hattori”, which has a history of more than 450 years, intends to establish its activities in the Samarkand region.
The school specializes in certification courses and educational programs in the field of culinary arts. At a meeting with the governor of Samarkand region Adiz Boboev, the school's director Someya Yoshiniko announced the intention to cooperate in this regard. It was noted at the meeting that 15 young people were trained in Japanese in cooperation with this culinary school and a Samarkand entrepreneur. At the next stage, it is planned to organize practical training on the basics of Japanese national cuisine, for which a suitable training building will be required. The guests expressed their readiness to train qualified chefs for Japanese cuisine in Samarkand. At the meeting, it was noted that the implementation of this project will serve to develop gastronomic tourism and expand the scope of tourism services in the region. Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region, spoke about the interest in Japanese cuisine in Samarkand, noting that the dishes prepared by them are distinguished by their dietary content. It was noted that the development of this direction will serve not only to train qualified specialists, but also to create new jobs, expand tourism services and strengthen international cooperation. Adiz Boboev said “Samarkand is a tourism center with a rich history and is open to new cultures. Support for such projects will allow us to improve the quality of services, expand gastronomic offers and make the region more attractive for guests” . The head of the region expressed his readiness to support this initiative. Officials proposed several educational buildings where Japanese specialists could organize professional courses at the meeting. After reviewing these proposals and selecting a suitable facility, representatives of the school will begin to implement this project.
