Adiz Boboev, who is an acting governor of Samarkand region, held a meeting with farmers in the Pastdargom district.

They discussed the implementation of agrotechnical measures in cotton fields planted for the 2025 harvest at the meeting. The head of the region touched upon the fact that the land is the wealth of our people, it is necessary to use it productively and effectively, introduce modern intensive technologies, and save water. A number of tasks were set for the timely implementation of the agrotechnical measures set for cotton and grain. The heads of farms , in turn, also mentioned the problems they were facing. The issues of water supply for irrigation of fields, electricity supply, debts of clusters to farmers and their collection, and other issues were discussed.
