More than two thousand triathletes from more than thirty countries are participating in the competition.

Professional and amateur athletes are competing  in the middle-distance 1.9-kilometer swimming, 86-kilometer cycling, and 21.5-kilometer running competitions today. Participants will cover designated distances along the territory of the “Silk Road Samarkand” international tourism center, the rowing canal, as well as the “Bokiy shahar” complex and historical sites of the city of Samarkand.
