
Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan is developing in many areas, including cultural and humanitarian, as well as in the field of education.
Adiz Boboev, the acting governor of Samarkand region, met with representatives of Nara University, which was also significant in that it was aimed at this goal. Today, there are about 10 higher educational institutions in Nara Prefecture, where young people are educated using modern teaching methods. Nara University was founded in 1969, and today 3,700 students study here. The conversation touched upon the future prospects of cooperation in the field of education, the possibilities of using advanced practices in personnel training. It was noted that the youth of Samarkand are eager to master modern knowledge and skills, and are eager to learn the Japanese language and culture. The meeting discussed the development of joint curricula that meet modern requirements, the establishment of mutual professional development of university professors and teachers and student exchanges, the joint implementation of educational materials, research projects, conferences, seminars and master classes. At the end of the negotiations, it was agreed to cooperate in organizing the study of Samarkand students in Japan and popularizing modern teaching methods.
