This morning, representatives of the regional and city administrations and the general public visited the mausoleum of Amir Temur and commemorated the great Sahibkiran.  The Qur'an was recited.

 After that, the participants of the event - representatives of educational institutions, law enforcement agencies in Samarkand, the military laid flowers at the monument of Amir Temur.  Representatives of the general public gathered in the square where the statue of Sahibkiran was erected and paid tribute to the memory of our great ancestor.
