Another open dialogue was organized in Samarkand region to support entrepreneurship, study the problems encountered in doing business on the spot, and find practical solutions.

It was attended by the chairman of the Central Bank, the first deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, the director of the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the chairman of the Tax Committee, the deputy chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, chairmen of the boards of commercial banks, heads of a number of banks, as well as the First Deputy governor of Samarkand region. During the dialogue, entrepreneurs expressed their proposals and appeals on the problems they face in their activities, in particular, on issues related to financial resources, credit and land allocation, increasing product exports, and infrastructure. The officials listened to each appeal on the spot and took measures to promptly resolve them. Bank leaders provided entrepreneurs with detailed explanations on the necessary credit products, benefits, and project financing procedures. The main goal of this meeting is to create a favorable environment for entrepreneurship, ensure sustainable business development, and improve the regional economy.
