As noted, due to the reforms implemented in our country in recent years, our region is also achieving positive results in the agricultural sector. In particular, this year, our region has produced 825 thousand tons of grain, more than 265 thousand tons of cotton, 1 million 700 thousand tons of vegetables, 3 thousand 900 tons of cocoons, 349 thousand tons of meat and 1 million 500 thousand tons of milk. The event also highlighted the increasing volume of agricultural production and exports. – This year alone, 303 thousand tons of fruit and vegetable products worth $ 316 million were exported to 61 countries, including Russia, China, Turkey, Ukraine, the USA, Poland, Germany, and Canada. Export volume increased by 74 million dollars compared to last year, - said the regional governor Adiz Boboev. At the event, a group of employees who have been working effectively in the agricultural sector were awarded with the badges “Agriculturalist of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “Excellent Water Industry Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “Hardworking Farmer”, “Exemplary Gardener”, “Advanced Farmer”, certificates of honor and souvenirs.
