The ‘Media Week’ events, which have been held throughout the republic, will be held in Samarkand from April 27 to May 1 of this year.

Deputy the governor of the region, Husan Tukhtayev attended the opening of the week, which started today at the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and wished success to the work of the media week. This project, which is being implemented at the initiative of the Center for Content Preparation for Mass Media under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Journalists' Union of Uzbekistan, the Youth Affairs Agency and in cooperation with the regional government, will last five days. During the trainings, qualified experts provide knowledge about the current trends in the modern media world in seminars and trainings for journalists and bloggers, newspapers and magazines, and heads of information services operating in the region.
