A video selector meeting on the issues of expanding the use of renewable energy was held under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 10 of this year.

the President emphasized at this meeting that the time has come to transfer all the buildings of the ministry, administration, and neighborhood to alternative energy.

In order to ensure the implementation of this task, the plan-distribution of installation of small solar photoelectric power stations in the administrative (auxiliary) buildings of the organizations was developed by the regional administration. According to the distribution, first of all, 600 small solar photoelectric power stations will be installed in the administrative and auxiliary buildings of enterprises and organizations in the region. The stations to be installed  are 360 solar panels and 240 solar water heaters.

The governor of the region, Erkinjon Turdimov, has informed about this at the governor's hour held at the regional governor's office today, and said that all leaders are responsible for taking measures to widely use renewable energy sources in economic sectors, population and social facilities. He instructed the leaders to develop a program to reduce electricity and heat energy costs in enterprises and organizations by at least 25 percent.
