At the next session of the Samarkand Regional Council of People's Deputies, the governor of the region E. Turdimov is planning to address the population on the results of this year and plans for 2022 tomorrow.

Ahead of the session, a press tour of the region has been organized for media workers today.

Journalists and bloggers first got acquainted with the construction of multi-storey residential buildings in the Karasuv massif of Samarkand.

Today, Samarkand has a population of 551,000.  Accordingly, in order to provide the population with modern housing, 10 16-storey 928-apartment residential buildings have been built and commissioned in the Karasuv massif this year.  In the first quarter of 2022, three16-storey and two 25-storey residential buildings are being planned to be commissioned.

At the same time, in order to provide housing for people in need of housing, multi-apartment residential buildings are being built in the Karasuv massif, which will be provided on a subsidized basis.

Director of the Samarkand Design Institute S. Toshev informed about the projects of multi-storey houses to be built in this area and in the Shirin mahalla of the city and behind the railway.

The participants of the press tour also got acquainted with the new educational and medical institutions in the area.
