Tashkent and Brussels are preparing for future joint events in the EU-Central Asia format in November in Samarkand.
"Dunyo" news agency reports that a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Mindaugas Kacherauskas, the temporary affairs representative in Uzbekistan, the deputy head of the EU delegation.
During the negotiations, current issues of the bilateral agenda, as well as prospects to increase the efficiency of the EU-Central Asia cooperation format were discussed.
The parties paid special attention to the next meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs in the format of "European Union - Central Asia" and the organization of the first Ministerial Conference on Strengthening Interdependence in November 2022.
It was agreed to continue the practice of holding regular working meetings with the European side to prepare the above-mentioned events, to enrich their agenda with specific proposals and practical content.
