Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region, held a meeting with Adham Yusupov, founder and executive director of the US company Ecology Mir Group.
The delegation members said that they came to Samarkand with specific goals and proposed implementing 2 major projects in the region. The first project is to build a modern high-tech Data Center in the Akdaryo district, and the second project is to build and launch a large plant for the production of high-voltage and household transformers. It is planned to involve the ATEF Group holding, which has more than 50 years of experience in this field and owns 11 plants around the world, in the energy project. This will not only create new jobs for Samarkand, but also allow for the effective implementation of foreign technologies. The regional head expressed his full support for both initiatives and his readiness to provide investors with comprehensive assistance. Currently, the parties have entered the project development stage. Experts are studying technical parameters and selecting the most suitable land plots. Once these processes are completed, the projects will move to the practical stage.
