The delegation of Samarkand region are currently on a business trip to the United States.
The delegation includes representatives of the regional administration, the healthcare system and the private medical sector, including representatives of the Meros International Hospital clinic. The main goal of the visit is to further strengthen cooperation with the US organization “Project C.U.R.E.”, discuss new promising projects and learn best practices. As is known, this year, as part of the working visit of Samarkand regional governor Adiz Boboev to the USA, meetings were held with the leadership of “Project C.U.R.E.” and important agreements were reached. After that, the organization’s specialists visited 10 medical institutions in the Samarkand region and studied their needs for medical equipment and inventory. As a result, an agreement was reached to provide these institutions with medical equipment and inventory worth a total of 10 million US dollars free of charge. Currently, this equipment is in the organization’s warehouses and is planned to be delivered to the Samarkand region via containers. As part of the visit to the United States, a number of meetings and negotiations are planned with the leadership and specialists of “Project C.U.R.E.”, as well as representatives of the country’s leading medical institutions. The delegation members will get acquainted with modern approaches to managing the healthcare system, advanced experience in providing medical services, medical equipment logistics, modernization of institutions, and the introduction of modern technologies. During the visit, special attention will be paid to the further development of the private medical sector in the region, along with state medical institutions, the introduction of modern management and medical technologies in private clinics, the expansion of international cooperation, and the implementation of investment projects. In this regard, the participation of representatives of the private medical sector in the delegation is of great importance for the exchange of experience and the establishment of new partnerships. It is expected that the practical visit of the Samarkand regional delegation to the United States will serve to bring humanitarian cooperation with “Project C.U.R.E.” to a new level, strengthen the material and technical base of medical institutions, introduce modern practices in the public and private medical sector, and further improve the quality of medical services provided to the population.
