Several service facilities and multi-storey residential buildings are being put into operation in the city on the occasion of Samarkand City Day on October 18.

In particular, a new 3-storey hotel with 80 beds was put into operation in the Mustakillik neighborhood of Samarkand. The event was attended by Adiz Boboev, acting governor of Samarkand region, representatives of the public and luminaries. During the event, the participants got acquainted with the modern amenities, quality of service and conditions created for guests in the new hotel. As a result of the establishment of the hotel, 40 new jobs were created. This is of great importance in the development of the service sector in the city and providing employment to the population.
