Samarkand is an ancient city. Just as it is important to preserve its historical image, it is also necessary to create conditions for the growing needs of the population.
Therefore, modern housing is being built in Karasuv district on the outskirts of the city.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the first houses here and got acquainted with the presentation of new projects during his visit to the region in 2019. In the past, these projects have come to life. A total of 47 16-, 15-, 14- and 12-storey residential buildings were built in the area by Agromir Buildings LLC. They have 3,588 apartments.
The facade of the dwellings consists of a 3-storey covering, which ensures that the apartments are warm in winter and cool in summer. The buildings are equipped with video surveillance systems, high-tech fire safety equipment. Each apartment is equipped with a separate heating boiler. The houses are being handed over to the owners ready.
In total, the number of multi-storey houses built in the Karasuv district reached 116. There is also a school for 1,600 places, a kindergarten for 120 places, a building of the citizens' assembly, shops, playgrounds and sports grounds.
This year, 7 more 16-storey and 2 25-storey houses are under construction.
The head of state paid special attention to the quality of housing and infrastructure. The builder stressed the need to develop a mechanism that would further strengthen the organization’s responsibility and accountability for quality.
- We have mastered the construction of houses, as in developed countries, and now we need to improve services accordingly, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Recommendations were made on the basis of foreign experience to expand the range of services, the establishment of an enterprise servicing apartment buildings and a special point for fire safety.
The presentation of the Master Plan of Samarkand and projects for the expansion of the city was held here.
