An extraordinary session of the Payarik district Council of people's deputies was held.

Adiz Boboev , the acting governor of the region, spoke about the potential, economic opportunities, shortcomings and problems awaiting resolution of the district at the session. The session considered organizational issues. I. Jabborov was relieved of his duties as governor of Payarik district at his own request due to his transfer to another job. Khudoyberdiev Shunkor Farmonovich, who had previously served as deputy governor of Samarkand region for agricultural and water management issues, was approved as governor of Payarik district. The session identified important tasks for the socio-economic development of the district.
