Adiz Boboev, who is the governor of Samarkand region, organized a meeting with rectors of higher educational institutions operating in the city of Samarkand.

At the meeting, the issues of implementing the priority tasks set out in the open dialogue of the head of our state with young people were discussed. During the meeting, specific measures were identified to attract students to sports in higher educational institutions, increase the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work, broaden the students' worldview and strengthen the spirit of patriotism. Also, providing graduates with employment and training them as qualified specialists in accordance with the requirements of the labor market were noted as urgent tasks. At the meeting, special attention was paid to the issues of teaching young people foreign languages and modern professions, creating conditions for their regular participation in sports, and supporting their progressive ideas and initiatives. In particular, the need to encourage innovative projects and startups of students, provide them with financial and organizational support, and direct young people to profitable activities by providing preferential loans was emphasized. The regional governor set the task for those responsible to organize systematic work that would yield practical results in each higher educational institution, develop specific plans to ensure the employment of young people and increase their potential. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to work together to ensure the implementation of the set tasks.
