An organizational issue at the extraordinary session of the district council of people's deputies held in Narpay District has been discussed.

Rakhmanov Sherzod Shukhratovich, who has been the head of the district since 2020, was released from the post of district governor due to his transfer to another job. Deputies approved the candidate of Buranov Sherbek Erkinovich for the position of mayor of Narpay district during the session.

Sherbek Buranov was born in Narpay district of  Samarkand region in 1985. He  worked in various positions in the banking system since 200 . He was a member of the Committee on Combating Corruption and Judicial Affairs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan since 2021.
