An exhibition of Samarkand craftsmen has been organized in Nara Prefecture
This exhibition showcased examples of national handicrafts created by hand, in particular, goldsmithing and kandakor products.
The exhibition is aimed at strengthening friendship and cultural ties between the two peoples, as well as widely promoting Uzbek national traditions. During the exhibition, the Japanese also tasted Samarkand soup.This exhibition, reflecting the culture and crafts of Samarkand, serves to demonstrate our rich cultural heritage, folk arts and traditional methods.
