The “Yoshlik” park in Samarkand, where people spend family vacations, is distinguished by the abundance of playground equipment for children.
It was noted that such attractions were installed in undersigned places, illegally constructed buildings, household waste accumulated in some parts of the park, and unsanitary conditions caused inconvenience and discouraged vacationers. Adiz Boboev, who is an acting governor of Samarkand region, got acquainted with the activities of the “Yoshlik” park. During the study, it was found that the placement of playground equipment too close to each other interferes with the free movement of people, and some buildings and structures in the area have fallen into neglect. It was found that waste has not been removed, and some trees are drying up from lack of water. It should be noted that the area of the “Yoshlik” amusement park is over 5 hectares , and 78 playgrounds have been installed on the territory. The head of the region expressed critical opinion on the deplorable state of the park, where Samarkand residents spend family vacations with their children. Relevant instructions were given to the officials to improve the area in a short period of time, clean it of garbage, water the dying trees, ensure the safety of people, remove illegally installed playground equipment, and turn the park into a beautiful and modern place. Large-scale work is currently being carried out in the park in order to ensure the fulfillment of the set tasks. Special attention is paid to modernizing the area and creating a more comfortable environment for citizens to relax.
