


Adiz Boboev, the governor of Samarkand region, held a meeting with members of the delegation led by the Chairman of the People's Consultative Council of the Republic of Indonesia, Ahmad Muzani.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ahmad Muzani emphasized that the regional delegation led by the governor of the region, Adiz Boboev, arrived in Samarkand at the invitation of the governor of the region, Adiz Boboev, during his visit to Indonesia. During the meeting, issues of further development of mutually beneficial cooperation, in particular, expansion of ties in the field of pilgrimage tourism, were discussed in detail. The parties exchanged views on more effective organization of trips of Indonesian pilgrims to Samarkand, especially visits to the Imam Bukhari complex, exchange of experience in this regard and strengthening cooperation. After the meeting, a dialogue was held with religious scholars from Indonesia. The conditions created for Indonesian pilgrims were discussed. As part of the visit, the delegation will meet with religious scholars of the region at the Imam Bukhari International Research Center. The guests will also visit the Imam Bukhari complex and stay at the “Hotel Kampoeng Indonesia – Samarkand” operating in this area. In addition, the guests will get acquainted with the activities of the “SAG” plant, production enterprises, and fruit and vegetable sorting and packaging facilities in order to get acquainted with the industrial and investment potential of the Samarkand region.
