
There was a meeting between Adiz Boboev,the acting governor of the region, and Valide Fouquet who is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Uzbekistan.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect, further development of bilateral relations, and interest. The parties noted the development of cooperation between our countries after the visit of the President of France to Uzbekistan. The importance of implementing the agreements reached and filling the strategic partnership with concrete content was emphasized. During the negotiations, the prospects for expanding cooperation in a number of important sectors were considered in detail. Particular attention was paid to the education sector, and the possibilities of implementing joint programs and exchanging experience were discussed. Issues related to the development of modern urban infrastructure, in particular, tram networks, were also discussed. The conversation touched upon the establishment of promising cooperation in the agricultural sector. The possibilities of introducing advanced French technologies into the regional agriculture and exporting Uzbek agricultural products to the European market were discussed. The agenda of the meeting focused on cooperation in the field of restoration of historical and cultural heritage. Valide Fouque expressed the readiness of the French side to assist in the preservation and restoration of unique architectural monuments located in the region. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
