The overpass with a total length of 862 meters was built in 2024-2025.

The overpass part of the structure is 33 meters long, 5.5 meters high and 40 meters wide. 46 solar panel lighting lamps were installed along the overpass, and a pedestrian walkway was built over a distance of more than 800 meters. The event dedicated to the opening of the tunnel was attended by the acting regional governor Adiz Boboev, regional and district activists, and representatives of the general public. Adiz Boboev congratulated those gathered on Independence Day and the opening of the new tunnel. - This structure, with a total cost of 80 billion soums, is being put into service by our people from today. As you know, previously, as a result of an average of 48 train trips per day, pedestrian and vehicle traffic was suspended for a total of 7-8 hours. This, of course, caused problems for the movement of people by vehicles, ambulances and other emergencies. The construction and commissioning of this modern tunnel was a worthy holiday gift for our people, - said Adiz Boboev. For information, it should be noted that 80 billion soums were allocated for the construction of the tunnel. At the event, the builders who showed activity in the construction work were awarded certificates of gratitude and gifts from the regional administration.
