Adiz Boboev, the governor of the Samarkand region, held a meeting with the chairman of the South Korean company “BOMI Engineering” Kim Deok Yong as part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
It was noted that the Samarkand region is developing rapidly, the population is growing, and the demand for modern urban infrastructure is high. In this regard, the construction of modern residential complexes that meet international standards for the population was noted as one of the priority tasks. The meeting discussed the company's proposal to build a modern residential complex on an area of 1 hectare in the "Shirin" area of the city of Samarkand. The governor of the region proposed to implement this project not only as a residential complex, but also as a complex that would include green areas, playgrounds, parking lots, trade and service facilities. It was also announced that the project will introduce energy-efficient construction technologies, modern security systems and digital management solutions, as well as provide practical assistance in land allocation, engineering communications and permitting issues during the project implementation process. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to consider cooperation opportunities in the implementation of other residential complexes, business centers and mixed development projects in Samarkand, in addition to this project.
