Today, a solemn event dedicated to the opening ceremony of the 2026 season of the “Five Initiatives Olympics” competitions was held.

The head of the regional youth affairs department D. Azizova, head of the regional sports department J. Nurmanov, and representatives of partner organizations, specialists from sports educational institutions, youth leaders, trainers, youth and athletes participated in the studio organized by the Samarkand regional youth affairs department. Speaking on behalf of the youth of our region at the event, Lutfiya Berdiyeva noted that the team of the neighbourhood Suluvkurgan  of Pakhtachi district won the first place in the athletics competitions of the “Five Initiatives Olympics” sports competitions held last year, which is a great opportunity for young people, and wished all young people good luck in this year's competitions.
