
On the eve of the Independence Day, an enterprise for the production of basalt stone heat-insulating plates was commissioned in the Samarkand district.
The opening ceremony of the enterprise was attended by the acting regional governor Adiz Boboev and representatives of the district community. The project cost was $25 million and 70 new jobs were created. Today, buildings and structures are being built all over the world in a high-quality, comprehensively convenient, energy-efficient manner using innovative, new types of building materials. In our country, heat-insulating materials and energy-saving construction products made of basalt stone and glass wool are also used. - Today, a newly opened enterprise in the Samarkand district will also play an important role in meeting the demand for heat-insulating materials in the construction of buildings and structures in our region, - said the head of the region. The guests viewed the equipment at the enterprise and got acquainted with the products being produced. When the plant is operating at full capacity, it is planned to export heat-retaining building materials to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
