A meeting has been held between Erkinjon Turdimov, the head of the region and Muhammad Monirul Islam, who is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bangladesh State in Uzbekistan  at  the governor's office of Samarkand region.

 During the conversation, current issues of cooperation development were discussed. Prospects for expanding inter regional cooperation in the fields of textile industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and tourism were discussed. As a result of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on the development of new initiatives and areas of multilateral bilateral cooperation.
