The event was attended by representatives of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Samarkand and Air Astana,
Consul of Kazakhstan in Samarkand Arsen Abdurahmanov, Deputy Governor, Head of the Regional Department of Tourism and Sports B. Nurillaev and other officials.
For information, on June 8 this year, Uzbekistan Airways launched the first flight on the route Samarkand - Almaty - Samarkand. The national airline operates flights to Kazakhstan every Tuesday and Saturday. Air Astana plans to operate flights every Wednesday and Sunday.
Flight time: 1 hour 55 minutes from Samarkand to Almaty, 1 hour 35 minutes from Almaty to Samarkand.
