Special respect and honors are paid to highly respected women from various fields on this day.

On the occasion of this date,  a festive event has been organized  at the “Diyora” festival in Samarkand.

It is attended by productive women in various fields, bright mothers who provide a worthy upbringing to the youth of their region and the strength of families, and hopeful, talented girls. At the festive event, known as “Holy Woman”, Adiz Boboev, the head of the Samarkand region, sincerely congratulated all women on the holiday and expressed his best wishes. He recognized that the role of women in the socio-political life of the regional society is of great importance, they have occupied a worthy place in all areas and have contributed to the development of our Motherland. On the occasion of the holiday, 19 of our sisters and mothers who have shown exemplary work in their neighborhoods and who have made being an example to others through the educational environment in their families a way of life were awarded the title of “Respectable Woman”. In addition, a group of women were awarded certificates of honor from the regional governor.
