Today, a group of officials led by the governor of the region got acquainted with the construction work being carried out in the building under reconstruction for the maternity complex No. 3 of the Samarkand City Medical Association.

The facility, which will be built through the reconstruction of the former Samarkand district agro-industrial vocational college, will have a capacity of 200 beds and will have two new departments, such as a 12-bed infant resuscitation and a 20-bed infant pathology.  The facility will mainly serve residents of Samarkand, Jambay, Urgut and Taylak districts, as well as pregnant women in critical condition and premature babies.

 During the acquaintance with the construction work carried out at the institution, the demands and suggestions of medical staff were heard.  Officials were instructed to create all necessary conditions for medical staff to complete the construction work, beautify the territory of the institution, build car parks and provide quality services to the population.  A week later, the work which was scheduled to be discussed again.
