President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping was solemnly awarded the highest state award of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the Order of "High-Level Friendship".

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, while handing over this award, noted that the Chinese President made a great contribution to the centuries-old friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between our peoples, to strengthening trust and mutual understanding, and to expanding economic, cultural and humanitarian  relations.

It was noted that due to the joint efforts and the special attention of the Chinese leader, the relations between our countries reached an unprecedented high level, acquired a perfect and dynamic tone.  It was shown that large-scale programs and projects related to trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation are being actively implemented.

Awarding Xi Jinping with the highest award of the Republic of Uzbekistan is an expression of deep respect for him as a state and political figure at the international level.

The President of China has  become the first foreign head of state to receive the Order of "High-Level Friendship".
