The prestigious conference “the first international forum of islamic civilization: The Path of Peace, Tolerance and Science and Enlightenment”, held in Samarkand on July 9-10 of this year, has completed its work.

Within the framework of the forum, scientists, scholars, state and public figures from more than 50 countries of the world communicated with each other and exchanged views on the rich scientific and spiritual heritage of Islamic civilization, the widespread promotion of the ideas of peace and tolerance, and the strengthening of international scientific cooperation. Yesterday, Adiz Boboev, the governor of the region, saw off the forum participants at the Samarkand railway station. Foreign participants expressed gratitude for the high organizational level of the forum, the created favorable conditions, and the sincere and oriental hospitality typical of Samarkand. They emphasized that this international forum, held in ancient and pristine Samarkand, has become not only a place for scientific dialogue, but also an important platform that has served to strengthen mutual trust and solidarity between different peoples and cultures. This international forum once again demonstrated the prestige of Samarkand as one of the centers of world science and dialogue of civilizations, and once again confirmed Uzbekistan's commitment to the principles of peace, tolerance and enlightenment.
