
The members of the International Advisory Council spoke about the rich cultural heritage and atmosphere of tolerance of Samarkand, noting that this city attracts tourists at the meeting.
Every stone, every pattern of Samarkand speaks about the unique history of the city. Located at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, Samarkand has become a place where representatives of different nationalities live in peace and harmony. Tourists often talk about the hospitality and sincerity of Samarkand residents, and it is this aspect that encourages them to return here again and again, - the guests said at the meeting with the head of the region.
Adiz Boboev, who is an acting governor of the region provided information on the work being carried out to implement socio-economic reforms and develop tourism infrastructure. He also noted that large-scale work is being carried out in the region to create decent conditions for residents and guests. The meeting discussed the prospects for further development of the tourism sector. Members of the Advisory Council offered their assistance in this area. Adiz Boboev stressed the importance of close cooperation in the fields of science and education, as well as the fact that using the experience of European countries will serve the development of not only tourism, but also other areas of the economy in Samarkand. At the meeting, the parties agreed to develop and strengthen mutual cooperation.
