Adiz Boboev, the acting governor of the Samarkand region, visited the neighbourhood named Kattaming in  Kattakurgan district and met with those who work in neighbourhood centre.

During the conversation, the work being carried out in the neighbourhood, existing problems and proposals for their solution were discussed. After that, the head of the region got acquainted with the fig growing activity organized on a 5-hectare area allocated for youth. It was noted that this initiative serves to create jobs for young people and increase the economic potential of the region. Also, the cotton field grown on the basis of Xinjiang technology at the ‘Petrol Agro Biznes NOM” farm was inspected. The new experience was positively evaluated and it was proposed to introduce it in other regions. Adiz Boboev also visited a specialized school in the neighbourhood on the same day and got acquainted with the educational process, material and technical base, and the experience of teachers. Feedback was expressed on further improving the school's activities. The activities of the private enterprise “Kumush Tola’ in the district were also studied. The head of the region was provided with information on the production processes at the enterprise and the jobs created.
