205 farms operating in Ishtikhon district have grown cotton on 6,910 hectares for the 2025 harvest.

In order to harvest the crop grown in these areas in a short time, 124 harvesting squads have been formed and 12 cotton pickers have been involved. Also, 5 cotton receiving stations in the district have been brought into a ready state for the season, and the electronic scales at the stations have been fully connected to the Agroscale information system. The head of the region, Adiz Boboev, visited the fields of the “Ishtikhon oltin yerlari”farm in the district and got acquainted with the processes of harvesting the grown cotton. This farm planted foreign cotton varieties using a drip irrigation system. The result was also high. Due to the timely and high-quality implementation of agroscale measures, 60-67 centners of yield are being obtained from each hectare. Adiz Boboev also visited the cotton field of the Asalchi Eldor farm in the district and got acquainted with the cotton harvesting work. He talked with industry experts and harvesters. The total land area of this farm is 54 hectares. Currently, 60 centners of cotton are being harvested. The head of the region gave a number of instructions on fast and high-quality cotton harvesting and the widespread use of drip irrigation experience in the coming seasons.
