Professors Mamayunus Pardayev, Dilorom Salakhi, textologist Komilkhan Kattayev, regional chief imam Zayniddin Eshankulov, museum and cadastral service employees took part in, as well.
Opinions were expressed and suggestions were made based on sources related to the history of the Chokardiza cemetery, which was demolished in 1947 and houses were built on it. In recent years, special attention has been paid to the improvement of this pilgrimage site and its surroundings, to the study and extensive research of sources about Imam Moturidi, who found eternal rest here, and many other scholars. However, the obtained information and collected sources do not give an opportunity to fully explore this place.
Therefore, at the suggestion of the head of the region, a working group consisting of cartographers, archaeologists, historians, and religious leaders was formed in order to determine the history of the Chokardiza cemetery and the location of the graves there. It was noted that not only local, but also foreign scientists and researchers, religious scholars, and the general public should be involved in this process.
