Extensive work is being done to improve the infrastructure of remote neighborhoods and create decent living conditions for the population in Samarkand region.
In particular, this process continues in Navbahor neighborhood of Payariq district at the moment.
The governor of Samarkand region, E. Turdimov, has got acquainted with these processes and talked with the residents today. He heard their problems and shortcomings.
More than three kilometers of dirt streets of Beshkapa, Kindikli, Tuyogli, Abdurakhman and Koktepa villages of the neighborhood were covered with gravel. 141 concrete poles are being installed in order to prevent interruptions in electricity supply and to provide residents with stable electricity. Four old transformers are being replaced with new ones.
More than one hundred household gas cylinders were distributed to residents of six villages.
The repair works of the water facility in the village of Koktepa have been started. So far, communication and internet networks have been a problem for those people who are no longer struggling with this issue. An optical fiber network is laid in the villages of Kindikli and Beshkapa, and residents are connected to the Internet.
More than 3,800 residents of the neighborhood have been undergoing in-depth medical examination by the mobile group of the regional health department for three days.
In the course of construction and beautification works being carried out in the area, works are also being carried out on the repair and equipping of the neighborhood building.
