At the meeting, the parties discussed the design, construction, commissioning and reconstruction of about 100 preschool educational institutions in Samarkand region on the basis of public-private partnership (PPP). It was noted that as a result of the implementation of this project, additional places will be created in the region and the level of coverage of children with preschool education will increase significantly. In particular, it was reported that selection work is currently underway for the complete renovation of 43 existing preschool educational institutions in the region. In addition, the regional government will provide a list of about 80 sites for new construction. The practical stages of the project have also been clearly defined. According to it, it is planned to start a two-stage tender process in the second quarter of 2026, and sign a PPP contract with the winner of the competition in 2027. Construction work is planned to be completed by 2030. Regional governor Adiz Boboev noted the importance of forming a list of specific areas required for the construction of new preschool educational institutions, based on local demand and needs. He also noted the need to expand practical cooperation with international partners in this area. At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen mutual cooperation on the effective implementation of the project.
