On the occasion of May 9 - the Day of Remembrance and Honor and the victory over fascism, World War II participant Ziyat Buranov, who lives in Narpay district, was visited and known his status.
The governor of the region Erkinjon Turdimov read out the President's congratulations to the veteran and presented him with a presidential gift and a cash prize of 12 million soums.
The National Guard, the Department of Defense, masters of culture and arts, and members of the public are also taking an active part in these visits, which have become a real holiday.
