An international paragliding competition has started in the mountains of the Chorchinor and Sariktepa neighborhoods of the district.

The opening of the competition was attended by the district mayor Dilmurod Sayidkulov and officials of the regional tourism department, who wished the athletes good luck. It was noted that extreme tourism is becoming increasingly popular in the district. More than 50 participants from 10 countries are participating in the six-day show-competition. The competition program includes paragliding shows and competitions, gastronomic exhibitions, concerts, and national games.
