URGUT FREE ECONOMIC ZONE PRODUCTS ARE BEING EXPORTED
The Urgut Free Economic Zone covers a total area of 1,262.0 hectares and is currently worth 286.6 million soums. There were 59 projects in US dollars.
As of January-September 2021, enterprises in the region produced goods worth 1 trillion 332.3 billion soums. Industrial products worth 41.9 million soums were produced. U.S. dollar products were exported to foreign countries.
Chemical, food and textile products produced in the Urgut Free Economic Zone are mainly exported to China, Russia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
