On the topical issues of multiple sclerosis IV International Congress of Physicians of Turkic States has started in Samarkand.
Leading neuropathologists, neurorehabilitologists, neuropsychologists, neuroreanimatologists, X-ray radiologists from Turkey, Northern Cyprus, the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic are taking part in the youth center of Samarkand.
"The main purpose of the congress is to use advanced technologies in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, share experiences with scientists and apply them in practice," said Professor Demirkaya Sheref, president of the Association for the Support of Research on multiple sclerosis. - We believe that this congress will further improve the results of treatment of multiple sclerosis through the exchange of experience between scientists from Western and Central Asian countries on the modern diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis and the introduction of innovations in the practice of treatment and prevention institutions.
The first congress on the topical issues of multiple sclerosis with the participation of experts from Turkish countries was held at the Medical Faculty of Gulhane University in Turkey in 2019. It agreed to hold the congress annually in one of the Western and Central Asian countries, and elected members of the special secretariat.
The congress will last until June 10, and in the framework of academic mobility will be held roundtables, discussions and exchange of experiences on the problems of multiple sclerosis, which has a genetic predisposition.
