A meeting was held between Kang Da-yun, who is a head secretary  of the global cities, tourism development organization and the ambassador of the Uzbekistan tourism brand in the Republic of South Korea, and Adiz Boboev,  an acting governor of Samarkand region.

The head of the region, Adiz Boboev, paid special attention to the current state and prospects of cooperation in the tourism sector between Uzbekistan and the Republic of South Korea. He noted that the meeting will serve to further strengthen the friendly relations between our peoples. The South Korean representatives highly appreciated the reforms implemented in our country in recent years in the development of the tourism sector.

Kang Da-yun noted that during his career, he has been effectively promoting the rich and unique tourism potential of Uzbekistan on an international scale, and paid special attention to actively promoting the tourism potential of Samarkand in the world market. During the meeting, representatives of the Samarkand regional administration exchanged views on projects and initiatives that should be implemented in collaboration with the Global cities tourism development organization.
