The Day of Medical Workers is widely celebrated in our country  on the second Sunday of November every year. On this occasion, a festive event was organized at the administration of Samarkand region.

It was attended by veterans, doctors and nurses who have worked in the medical field for many years, as well as representatives of various enterprises and organizations. Adiz Boboev, an acting governor of Samarkand region noted that today the creation of a high-quality medical service system in our country is a priority task. It was noted that due to the large-scale reforms implemented in recent years, the system of qualified medical services is entering every neighborhood and household. — Today, reforms based on completely new approaches are being carried out in Uzbek medicine. The main goal of all efforts is to please the people and preserve their health, — said the head of the region. At the end of the event, a group of medical workers were awarded the Ministry of Health's “Healthcare Excellence” and “Guardian of Public Health” badges and letters of appreciation, as well as honorary certificates and souvenirs from the regional governor.
