The Times, the prestigious publication of Britain, included Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva among suitable places to travel in its Travel column.
The publisher advised its subscribers to visit countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Egypt, Qatar, Kenya, Senegal, and Uzbekistan in 2023.
"The golden age of Samarkand corresponds to the era of the Silk Road. Today, Uzbekistan can surprise tourists not only with Samarkand, but also with its two other ancient and charming centers - Bukhara and Khiva. These ancient cities fascinate people with their green-domed mosques and bejeweled mausoleums. Also, the Silk Road, located near the city of Samarkand, offers luxury hotels and gastronomy to tourists.
