The visit of the President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini, who arrived in our country on October 29 by the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan , has ended.

In accordance with the program of the visit in Samarkand, on October 30, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev and the President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini held negotiations. The meeting considered topical aspects of further expanding strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia. The Slovak leader, among the distinguished guests, attended the opening ceremony of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference. He also attended and spoke at the regular plenary session of the General Conference of the organization on October 31. During the visit, Peter Pellegrini got acquainted with the historical and cultural monuments in Samarkand and watched a concert program with the participation of creative teams from Uzbekistan and Slovakia. The high-ranking guest was seen off at the Samarkand International Airport by first deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Achilboy Ramatov, an acting governor of Samarkand Region Adiz Boboev, and other officials.
