
A meeting was held between Adiz Boboev, who is the acting governor of Samarkand region, and the leadership of the Association of Regional Administrations of Northeast Asia.
Initially, the members of Samarkand region delegation were provided with information about the activities of the association. This association Established in 1996 includes 82 regional administrations of China, Japan, the Republic of South Korea, Mongolia, the DPRK and the Russian Federation, with a total population of 700 million people. The association also cooperates with international organizations such as the Assembly of European regions, the International Organization for Regional Action on Climate Change, and the International Association of local governments for sustainability. The organization, based on the principles of equality and justice, contributes to the overall development of Northeast Asia by promoting exchanges and cooperation in all areas, including governance, economics, and culture. The talks also touched upon the issues of establishing cooperation with the Samarkand region and exploring new opportunities in this process.
