Spartakiada competitions of the region among law enforcement agencies, military personnel and national teams of sports federations have started in Samarkand.

The governor of the region, the head of the  State Safety Service of Samarkand and sector leaders as well as public representatives took part in the ceremonial event dedicated to the start of the competition. Regional governor Erkinjon Turdimov welcomed all the participants and wished them luck and success.

According to the information: Participants will compete in 9 sports, including volleyball, basketball, mini football, chess, freestyle wrestling, athletics, table tennis, swimming and shooting.
