The governor of St. Petersburg has visited Samarkand

A delegation headed by St. Petersburg governor Alexander Beglov visited Samarkand.

The guests were welcomed by the governor of the region, Erkinjon Turdimov at the Samarkand International Airport. First and foremost, the guests got acquainted with the "Immortal City" complex and visited a number of attractions of Samarkand. A meeting was held with the members of the delegation at the regional administration today. Erkinjon Turdimov told the members of the delegation about today's Samarkand, its opportunities and investment attractiveness, and the cooperation between Samarkand and St. Petersburg.

On his part, St. Petersburg governor Alexander Beglov expressed gratitude for the hospitality on behalf of himself and the members of the delegation and noted that there are all opportunities for further development of cooperation.

A roadmap for the development of cooperation between the Samarkand regional administration and the government of St. Petersburg in 2022-2026 at the end of the meeting between the Samarkand regional information-library center named after A. Pushkin and the central library of the city of St. Petersburg named after V. Mayakovsky, and the employment and labor relations of the Republic of Uzbekistan Memorandums of cooperation were signed between the Foreign Labor Migration Agency under the Ministry of Labor and the International Labor Migration Assistance Association.

The delegation's visit to Samarkand continues.
