Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Digital Technologies, and the governor of the region, Adiz Boboyev got acquainted with the construction work of the Samarkand branch of “IT Park Uzbekistan” being built in Samarkand.

During the study, the status of construction work at the facility, building and infrastructure solutions, landscaping of the territory, and conditions created for residents were discussed. The technical and architectural aspects of the project were also reviewed, and special attention was paid to the issues of timely and high-quality implementation of construction work. The officials expressed their views on transforming the IT Park Samarkand branch into a modern innovation center for young people, startup teams, and IT companies in the region. In particular, proposals were made to create a comfortable working environment for residents, expand coworking and office areas, organize modern conference and training rooms, and further improve engineering and communication networks. It was also proposed to further work on the project and make some changes to the project in order to introduce modern and functional solutions to the complex under construction. During the meeting, it was noted that this branch will play an important role in developing the digital economy in the Samarkand region, increasing the export of IT services, creating new jobs, and directing young people to modern professions.
